Coming Soon: $1bn Yacht with Buildings & a Beach

This $1 billion luxury yacht has not yet set sail, but it's already making waves.

Designed by Yacht Island Design, this 500-foot super yacht could be home to 16 guests and 70 crew with the main apartment spread over three floors and 445 square metres. The superyacht, designed to look like the streets of Monaco, or more specifically a section of Monte Carlo, also includes buildings, helicopters, submarines and a beach.

ANI says the super ship, which is currently in the design stage, will feature smaller versions of Monaco's famous landmarks such as the Monte Carlo Casino and racetrack, as well as swimming pools, tennis courts, a cinema, a go-kart track and a Hotel de Paris.

Travellers will also be able to enjoy spot waterfalls and a swim-in Jacuzzi-bar.

Linking upper and lower living areas is the Atrium that will feature seven guest suites, a bathroom, bedroom, dressing room, reception area and balcony.

"It is basically a floating city," News.com.au quoted company director Rob McPherson, as saying. "We want to create a truly unique environment that could take the principality of Monaco to the ocean," he added.
